Hello from the new owners of We Rock the Spectrum – Woodbury!
We Rock the Spectrum – Woodbury opened in December 2024. The gym underwent ownership changes in the summer of 2025 and will reopen in September 2025. The new owners, Linda and Meaghan, are a mother-daughter team who opened their first We Rock the Spectrum location together, in Eagan, MN, at the beginning of 2025.
Linda moved from her hometown of St. Paul to Milwaukee to pursue her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Marquette University. She opened a pediatric therapy practice in 1998 and has since dedicated her enitre career to serving families with neurodiverse children. Her practice has expanded the scope of services to include activities such as adapted sporting events, sensory-friendly family events and in 2020, she opened We Rock the Spectrum – Milwaukee.
Meaghan moved from her hometown of Milwaukee to St. Paul to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Wellness from the University of St. Thomas. She has worked alongside Linda’s pediatric practice since 2012, co-creating and directing an annual adaptive triathlon for children and adults with special needs. Meaghan’s passion for coaching and building healthy communities has driven her work in collegiate rugby coaching, youth enrichment programming, and family-centered health education. She has also played a key role in helping Linda develop and promote We Rock the Spectrum – Milwaukee.
The dream of opening a We Rock the Spectrum location in Minnesota blossomed as Meaghan laid down permanent roots in the Twin Cities after graduation and sought to continue working with her mother to create meaningful experiences for families and children of all abilities. Linda and Meaghan share a deep love for Minnesota and are passionate about bringing the We Rock the Spectrum experience to the Twin Cities.
We Rock the Spectrum – Woodbury will offer the same trusted programming and inclusive environment that all We Rock the Spectrum families have come to rely on, expanding access to sensory-safe play and community resources across the Twin Cities. The goal is to ensure more families—of all abilities—have a place where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and free to be themselves.
